Compliance & Verification
Security, Compliance & Legal
At DigitalPurse, we prioritize security and compliance to provide a safe and reliable experience for all our users. We operate a Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) program, enforce transaction limits for non-verified users, and cooperate fully with lawful requests from competent authorities.
Know Your Customer (KYC)
Certain types of payments or products may require KYC verification for users who have not yet been verified. We also impose limits on the number of orders that non-verified users can place on a daily and monthly basis. KYC verification not only increases your limits but also provides additional benefits:
Enhanced Security: KYC helps us verify your identity, reducing the risk of fraud and unauthorized transactions.Higher Limits: As a KYC-verified user, you can enjoy higher transaction limits, allowing you to make more transactions and spend more on our platform.Access to Exclusive Features: KYC-verified users may have access to exclusive features and promotions on DigitalPurse.
By understanding and adhering to our limits and KYC requirements, you can enjoy all the benefits of our platform while ensuring a safe environment for everyone.
Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
DigitalPurse maintains an Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing program designed to detect, prevent, and report activity that may be linked to financial crime. As part of this program we may:
Monitor transactions: We review activity for patterns consistent with fraud, money laundering, or other prohibited use.Screen users: We screen customers against applicable sanctions and watchlists, and may decline or restrict service where a match or risk is identified.Request information: We may ask for additional identity documents, source-of-funds details, or an explanation of a transaction before processing or releasing funds.Suspend or close accounts: We may suspend, limit, or close accounts where we reasonably suspect a breach of these policies or applicable law.
Law Enforcement Cooperation
DigitalPurse is committed to cooperating with law enforcement and other competent authorities. Where we receive a valid and lawful request, we will cooperate and may be required to disclose data we hold about a user.
What we may disclose: Depending on the request, this may include account and registration details, KYC/identity information, transaction and disbursement records, and technical data such as IP addresses and device information, to the extent we hold it.When we disclose it: We respond to requests that are valid under applicable law — for example a subpoena, court order, warrant, or other lawful process from an authority with jurisdiction. We may also disclose information where we believe in good faith it is necessary to prevent fraud, financial crime, imminent harm, or to protect our rights, users, or the public. How requests should be submitted: Authorities should direct requests to our compliance team at [email protected]. We review each request to confirm it is lawful and properly scoped before responding.User notice: Where we are legally permitted to do so, we may notify an affected user of a request. In some cases the law or the request itself prohibits us from giving notice, and we will comply with any such restriction.
We will not disclose user data except as described in this policy, as set out in our Privacy Policy, or as otherwise required or permitted by law.
